Today I’d like to share with you a not commonly known fact. Are you like most people under the perception that the two words healthy and dessert doesn’t mix? I too was once under this perception until I discover an amazing book which’d forever change my life. It changed my life because I’ve always had a hunger for sweets, and dinner without dessert has seemed like madness to me. Because of my great hunger for sweets each and every day, I was diagnosed with diabeties only one year ago. Changing my lifestyle quickly seemed like an impossible task to me, and it kept demotivating me as I felt totally helpless. First when I finally discovered Kelly Herring’s amazing book Guilt-Free Desserts that things started brightening up. This spectacular cookbook thought me how to enjoy all the food which had once almost destroyed my life, but without the constant feeling of guilt.
The amazing thing about the desserts which you’re thaught to make in Kelly Herring’s cook is that for once you’ll be able to fully enjoy a Creme Brulee, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Espresso Chocolate Mousse, and many many more without the usual nagging presence of guilt. This is the way these classic and ever delicious desserts are meant to be enjoyed. Being able to enjoy such a treat as a dessert is a very strong motivator, atleast it’s what kept me going and motivated. For once I was able to reward myself with tasty food, but without the usual bad feelings, and I’m sure that without this carrot I wouldn’t have been able to change my eating habits and thereby bettering my life.
Searching far and wild out of frustration, I stumbled upon this great cookbook. One might even go as far and say that this cookbook is correcting the flaws, which the classic recipes of the ever loved desserts have made. I’m now completely convinced that amazing tasting desserts doesn’t have to be unhealthy and filled with sugar and unhealthy fats.

I can believe that you might be quite sceptical of such divine cooking, and not to my own surprise, so was my family and friends. If only you could’ve seen their faces when I told them, after serving just a tiny fraction of the tasty desserts found in Guilt-Free Desserts that those delicious desserts, which they had just enjoyed where actually gluten free desserts. At first they refused to believe me, but after calming them down a bit and explaining from where I had learnt this secret to cooking, they all seemed convinced.
